Sophie Bellmann

Sophie Bellmann, our house photographer and filmmaker, was originally born in Berlin, Germany. Growing up in a family of artists, she started to paint, dance, write and play classical instruments at a young age. Eventually, she got her first own videocamera with the age of 13 and set her focus on filmmaking and storytelling. Sophie studied theatre-, film- and media studies in Vienna and later did her diploma in Multimedia, finishing with honors. Since then she has been traveling the world, shooting documentaries and short films, touring with musicians, working with non-profit organizations and finally finding her new home in Portugal in 2019. This is when she connected with an even more conscious approach in her art.

In 2022 Sophie started to work with Cosmic Gong. Since then she has been responsible for the creative and marketing direction.
